4.What is an “earning rate”?
Earning rate is the number of Etihad Guest Miles that a Cardholder will earn for every Dirham spent on the cards. On the ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Cards, you will earn anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 Etihad Guest Miles per 4 AED spent.

10.Is there an expiry date for these Miles?
Yes, the Etihad Guest Miles are valid for 3 years from the date they were earned.

11.Do I get Etihad Guest Miles when I withdraw money from the ATM using my Debit card?
No, Etihad Guest Miles are not earned on cash withdrawal from an ATM, exchange houses or similar. Miles are not earned on any non-Card transactions such as branch transactions and utility bill payments.

12.I don’t have enough Etihad Guest Miles to get what I want to purchase!
The Etihad Guest Reward Shop has the unique “Miles+Cash” option. If you don’t have enough Etihad Guest Miles for a Reward, you can still redeem the reward by paying
for the shortfall with your ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Cards.

ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Gold and Platinum Cardholders have the unique opportunity to get fast-tracked to Etihad Guest Silver and Gold Tiers respectively
when they purchase a certain number of round-trip tickets (as listed below) in any class and on any fare with Etihad Airways using the ADIB
Etihad Guest Visa Card. The fast track facility is applicable only to principal Cardholders.

• An ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Gold Cardholder will be upgraded to the Etihad Guest Silver Tier upon completion of 4 return flights on Etihad within 12 months
of Card issuance.

• An ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Platinum Cardholder will be upgraded to the Etihad Guest Gold Tier upon completion of 2 return flights on Etihad within 12 months
of Card issuance.

7 – On duty manager’s discretion and subject to seat/ meal availability
8 – Member transacting the Guest Miles should be present when requesting an Instant Upgrade at the airport for a family member or a friend.

19. Tell me more about the free companion ticket.
• This benefit is exclusive to ADIB Etihad Guest Visa Gold and Platinum Cardholders.
• Whenever you spend more than AED 150,000 in one year (from the date of issuance of your Card), you will be issued with a voucher that will allow you to
take a companion for free whenever you redeem your Etihad Guest Miles for a ticket on Etihad Airways on the same journey as you.
• 1 voucher will be issued per 12 months regardless of the amount spent on your Card.
• You must use your Etihad Guest Miles to book your ticket. Your companion will then come for free.
• Your companion must travel on the same date, same flight, same destination and same itinerary as you.

20.If I spend AED 300,000 in 1 year, can I get 2 vouchers?
No, you are eligible for one companion ticket per 12 month period.
